Course Description:
Evidence provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that millions of Americans suffer from memory problems. The question is, what causes memory problems? The answer may come as a surprise. One of the leading causes of memory problems is medications. With that in mind, this course highlights medication classes and specific medications that may lead to memory problems. This course also reviews dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive impairment, and delirium, which are all associated with memory problems.
